Support from afar

Villagers come to our HLF office in Kathmandu from a far distance on a regular basis to ask for our support for solar electric lighting for their community centers, monasteries, health posts and schools.  Many of these fold directly onto the Potential installations sites which can be seen country by country.  However…..Many of these locations are just too remote to be able to solicit donors to travel to any time in the near future.  For these far remote deserving communities, we request your direct no frills support.

Each donation no matter how small, can be added to our special pool fund for such discretional support.  A $650 donation to HLF can assure one lighting system for any of those community centers.  If your donation is a small one, it is simply compounded with other smaller donations until it reaches that level. 

In some cases, your donation can enable a visiting solar sisters volunteer / donor to increase the size of the system they install.

Your donation is extremely valuable to the villagers and no donation is too small.
